Italian Travel Project

Task: You are working for a travel agency. You would like to encourage your customers to visit an Italian city. You need to make a brochure showing why the city you chose is such a great place to visit.

You want to include:

• A brief history of the city.


• Sights to see: what sights are not to be missed when visiting this city?


• Recommend two hotels and two restaurants.


• Give a brief biography (one paragraph) of an important person from this city.


• Show a map of Italy with a star indicating where the city is found.


• Include at least two pictures of the city.

What happened to David after two years in the US

Davide, the famed statue by artist Michelangelo, recently returned to Italy after a two year stay in the United States. Before Davide left to the United States, he appeared like this (see first image).
